Cubby House Turners and Woodies Inc
Welcome to "The Woodcraft Centre for the Shire"
The Cubby House has been established as a venue where like-minded men and women can come to practice their craft; turning timber into beautifully finished pieces of art, furniture or anything else you might like. Based in a hall at Oyster Bay, we provide for wood turners and wood workers alike. Membership (for a small fee to cover insurances) is open to those aged 16 years and up; which entitles you to full use of the facilities and equipment. We also offer training programs (eg: beginner woodturning) and have very experienced mentors available. As an aside, some members also make and donate around 500 toys to charitable organisations in the Sutherland Shire annually (Christmas).
